Northern

The Northern Region is one of the ten regions of Ghana. It is located in the north of the country and it is the largest of the ten regions. The region is divided into 26 districts. The capital of the region is Tamale. It has a population of 2,479,461 and HIV/AIDS prevalence rate of 0.3%. The P4H project is being enrolled in 5 districts of the region namely Tamale, Yendi, Gushegu, Central Gonja and East Mamprusi.
